Physical activity triggers various hormonal and chemical changes in the body that counter depression, but the first step is often the most difficult one. The emphasis is therefore on taking you outside walking so you can begin your journey towards your recovery.

As you get used to walking and its mood-enhancing benefits, you will be in a better place to talk through your struggle.

Sessions last between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on where you are on your journey. A course of sessions works best.

Walking side-by-side on a regular basis, it is easier and often more comfortable to talk through what's on your mind without having to make eye contact.

Weekly sessions are recommended.
